Hadn’t done any catalog shopping in years. In the midst of the Christmas rush, what do I behold but the most gorgeous drapes, where did I find them? Of all places in the Sears catalog. I thought, what the hey and ordered them thinking that they would be horrible. To my surprise they are lovely, good quality, the right color and didn’t take long for the order to come. Sears you’ve once again sold me on catalog shopping as well as delivering the goods with these beautiful drapes and tie backs. Thank you. I love the quality, easy of hanging (hooks were even supplied with directions for hanging). They look elegant, when closed keep out the light as well as the cold. Excellent product, good workmanship and quality. I would definately recommend the to one and all.Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend(12 of 12 customers found this review helpful)Was this review helpful? They are stiff so don’t hang nicely and the material is lightweight, not the quality an insulated drape should be. I returned them. Last year I bought the Baxter pleated drapes and really, really, liked them, but they weren’t available this year. At this time I also bought the Claudette pleated drapes. They are much nicer, heavy weight, well insulated, and hang nicely, but unfortunately I couldn’t get them in all the colours I wanted.Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend(1 of 1 customers found this review helpful)Was this review helpful? They not only help coordinate your decor and control natural lighting, but they also help maintain privacy as you go about your daily routine. Kmart carries blinds, drapes, valances and more to fit many styles of windows in any room of the house. Add thick, room-darkening drapes or curtains to bedroom windows. These items can limit the amount of natural light that enters your home, and they also reduce light from street lamps or passing cars from entering a room. Whether you’re hopping into bed for the night or just taking a quick nap in the afternoon, less light can mean a more comfortable sleeping environment. For living areas, such as kitchens and family rooms, sheer curtains, drapes and valances allow subtle light to filter into the space. Install window hardware like rods and clip rings to complement both the window treatments and your decorating style. Installation is simple and typically requires screw drivers or small cordless power tools. Installing holdbacks with your window treatments will make enjoying bright, sunny days even easier. Blinds are ideal for bathrooms because they control lighting while blocking the view from the outside. Crack open the blinds to enjoy sunrise as you start your day. Close them in the evenings for greater peace of mind while you unwind after a long day at work. Decorate and add functionality to your home with stylish and affordable window treatments from Kmart.sears drapes 7there was nothing really wrong with these drapes, the colour was true to the picture, and the pleats were okay, but overall they just didn’t measure up to the price I had to pay for them. The picture in the catalogue showed them as a beautiful drapery, the fabric was coarse, good for a cottage on the lake.sears drapes 9Comments about WholeHome®/MD ‘Kingsley’ Insulated Pinch Pleated Drapes:I bought these drapes because we had cold drafts coming in our living room windows. They seem to stop some of the cold, but not all of it. I was disappointed with the quality. I expected something better. They have small holes in them, all over the place, not just in one area. I ironed then, but you really cannot tell, as they just look cheap.Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friendWas this review helpful?
